Join us on May 23rd as Pamela Davies discusses pain management and assessment strategies in older adults. There are many factors and we want to give you the knowledge and tools to assess and create decision making strategies to help this patient population. 

Objectives:

1. Review challenges of pain assessment and management in the older adult.
2. Provide an overview of recommendations for pain management in older adults, focusing on the 2023 Bree Collaborative and the American Geriatric Society’s 2023 updated Beers Criteria® for potentially inappropriate medication use in older adults.
3. Discuss decision-making strategies when incorporating recommendations into practice.
