7/27/22 free CEU Meeting reminder, Board vacancy, important announcements

Dear PNW ASPMN membership,

 We are moving into our 4th year as a chapter. (is that correct, 4th)

It has been my pleasure to serve as Chapter President this past year. The collaboration of our past President, President -elect and Board of Directors have made my job easy and enjoyable.

We welcome Genna Saunders, BSN, RN, PMGT-BC from Seattle, WA as our incoming President.

We are in need of nominations for President-elect.  Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged!

Our Chapter will be striving to increase membership input in the coming year. In light of that we will be expanding our Board of Directors. If you are interested in joining our board of directors, please nominate yourself.

We look forward to our Membership/CE meeting on July 27th. The topic will be Pain Management and Risks Associated with Substance Use. This is a very timely topic that will be presented by our very own Chapter member Marian Wilson, PhD, MPH, RN, PMGT-BC. While it is free, you must register in advance to receive the Zoom link.

 We look forward to seeing you at the ASPMN conference IN PERSON in Palm Springs, California at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa September 14-17.

Early registration continues until August 19th.  This conference is the best source for nursing professionals to gain knowledge and access cutting-edge expertise in all areas of pain care.

You will hear from leading Pain Management Nurses, CNS, NPs, nursing researchers and nursing faculty as well as having opportunity to connect with others.

Our chapter is planning on having several tables to sit together. Finding us will be easy. Look for the blue hats.
