ASPMN – PNW provides local chapter affiliation for Pacific Northwest nurses located in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. We also welcome nurses from any location that would like to participate in a dynamic pain management community. We are a new chapter and eager to develop innovative programs that support nurses in the work of improving patient comfort and safety. Our mission is to advance and promote optimal nursing care for people affected by pain by promoting evidence-based nursing practice through education and transformational leadership.
Chapter membership begins with your annual ASPMN® membership which pays for itself with the countless benefits that accompany it. Benefits include valuable industry resources, discounts on educational opportunities and a strong sense of community with our pain management professionals. Chapters are an important way to collaborate at the local level; it is in chapters where enthusiasm and interest in pain management nursing comes alive. ASPMN chapters serve as a link between people within the chapter, as well as between the chapter and the National Office.
Chapter dues are low and billed separately. These dues will be used to provide at least three CE programs a year that will be free to chapter members. Our chapter meetings and programs will be conducted live online to help enable nursing professionals to attend from any location by computer or mobile device.
